The Words – “The fog lifted once the fear evaporated” kind of jumped out of my spirit this morning. I overslept and instead of rushing I decided to take the glass of water by my bedside and sit quietly before I rush off to shower and make coffee.
As I looked out of the window I could see the early morning fog. I had great difficulty distinguishing the fog from the clouds. And this is what it was like being in that bubble of confusion. Your thoughts are filled with fear- possibly from the trauma being it sadness or loss you might even be experiencing right now.
As I reached for my Bible the scripture that came to me was Psalm 27.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation. I will fear no one. The Lord protects me from all danger, I will never be afraid. When evil people attack me and try to kill me, they stumble and fall. Even if a whole army surrounds me, I will not be afraid; even if enemies attack me: I will trust God.”
It was when I realized who God is in me that I stopped fearing and knew it is time to step out of the bubble of confusion and Trust Him. Once my fear evaporated the fog lifted – I could started seeing clearer. Ell
