“Not everyone is meant to sit with you at your table.”

Someone once told me I overshare. This was 7 years ago. I recall listening but not responding as I wanted to sit with it later in the day. The conversation was around me sitting with people and sharing my ideas, dreams and visions with them openly. I thought by being open that I was being authentic.

Someone once told me I overshare. This was 7 years ago. I recall listening but not responding as I wanted to sit with it later in the day. The conversation was around me sitting with people and sharing my ideas, dreams, and visions with them openly. I thought by being open that I was being authentic.

This was a time of my life when I had to learn that some people’s intentions are not the same as mine. They took what I was dishing out freely and made it their own as I had no boundaries.

2 years ago I recalled these words as I was having coffee with a friend and chatting away. Last week I was told I am not sharing anymore. I am being secretive. I am however BEing still as I am in a new season of my life.

We overshare when we do not know our worth but require validation from others. Looking for approval from Man instead of God.

Some things are meant for you. To sit with it with God first and Grow.
