Ive been battling with distractions the past few months.
One being scrolling down social media after work and then berating myself for not spending enough time in prayer or the Word before going to bed. Something prompted me to check the privacy settings on my Facebook page. It showed me that I blocked 18 people and one name stood out. I could not remember blocking him. Who do you say I am?

Everyone was leaving but I decided to stay behind to pack what was left in the cabinet next to his bedside. I recall standing with that see-through carrier bag, containing his hairbrush, spectacle case, and some other personal items, at the elevator. On the bag was a sticker. On it was written his name.

I stood there waiting for the elevator to reach the floor I’d been visiting daily.  The words of the doctors saying: “Take care of her as she is the rock in your family and hearing my brother saying with pride: “she is like a mother to us”
